The Screwed Up World We Live In

At 6:00 A.m. it’s hard not to think
Think about life and what yours is
To think about what surround’s you
And what the world is made of
Lifeless people, dead people
Walking around with no meaning
No meaning to there pitiful lives
I say pitiful because they’re not happy
You can see it in their eyes
In that fake smile of theirs
Doing things they aren’t happy with
Doing them only ‘cause they think they have to
You get one life
Why not give it meaning and happiness?
But happiness isn’t a factor anymore
Money is the only thing that matters
But money is the evil that will destroy this world
It’s like the apple in the Garden of Eden
Should have never touched it
Maybe someday they will see
See what it is doing to them
And to the world around them
Money makes the world go round
It controls the world and everything in it
It creates greed and jealousy
Which are two causes of murder
I wonder if anyone ever killed over money?
We all know the answer to that one
The rich run our government
And everything revolves around them
Screw the poor and the struggle they have
Just to maintain a somewhat decent life
You see one-day people are going to wake up
People are going to start to realize what is going on
Karl Marx knew exactly what was going to happen
And everything he said will happen
You just wait and see
Communism will set in and I can’t wait
You’re probably thinking "Oh my God"
In The Communist Manifesto Marx said
The proletariat will rise up against the Bourgeois
And take back control
This was Marx’s idea of communism
What is so wrong with that?
The poor will take control
And in that a revolution will start
You can’t be against a revolution
Revolutions are what got us to where we are today
They are what made America what it used to be
I say used to be because America is not "The land of the free"
As it once was
The president has his head shoved so far up his ass
He don’t see what is going on
And congress just doesn’t care to pay attention
And they are going to ruin us all
They are going to kill us all
As they’re pushing us
The working class
Closer and closer to the edge
Closer and closer to the Revolution of Communism
They are pushing America closer and closer to destruction
In your head you’re probably thinking
"But I thought you were for the Revolution of Communism?"
I am, but when you think about it
When the Revolution occurs America is going to be a wreck
We are going to be weak and vulnerable
And who is the most hated country in the world?
What country is a supremacist asshole?
We are!
And when you put two and two together
What does that equal, besides four?
That equals us being dead
Russia and Korea have nuclear weapons
And when this country is vulnerable and weak
They are going to hit us with everything they have
So unless something starts to change soon
You might as well start to build a bomb shelter
You might as well realize that life
Well life isn’t going to be anything like it is now
It’s going to be survival of the fittest
Only the strong will survive
To think about it seems quite impossible
But is it really?
Is anything impossible, I think not!
A ship deemed unsinkable sank
We must do something before it is too late
Before we are all dead
In The Deceleration of Independence we as American’s
We as citizens of the United States of America
Were given the right to disassemble the government
To take control and create a new government
We don’t need to create a new government
But we do need to make a lot of changes
The Constitution used to be the "father document of this land"
Now the Constitution don’t mean shit
When the President is sworn in
He is sworn to go by the guidelines
The guidelines that the Constitution has laid down for us
Apparently the Constitution has been forgotten about
And some of our presidents have not been doing
Doing what they swore they would do
So where does that leave us?
The proletariat of America
The working class
That leaves us working our asses off
Living below the poverty line
With no rights and no freedoms
The people of this country no longer have freedom of speech
We can no longer speak our minds
And say what is in our hearts without being disciplined for having an opinion
We can no longer be us if we can not say what we feel
Everyday they continue to take more of our freedoms away
More of our rights
And by doing that they continue to take more of us away
Most of what they do they find some screwed up way
Some crazy, fucked up way to justify it
We cannot say what we think, and what we feel
But we can go fight for a country, a nation that doesn’t give two shits about us; how is that right?
And why fight for this country
You’re not going to get anything out of it
They say you do
They make all these promises
But just look at the streets
They are filled with veterans from past wars
The veterans who went off to fight in a war
And when they came back they had nothing
No family, no place to go, no food, no help
Didn’t the government promise them the same?
The same they promise everyone today?
Yet the government says they thank our veterans
I mean, that is why we veterans day, right?
If you want to thank them get them off the street
Give them a home and a job
Aren’t we supposed to be able to turn to our government for help when we need it?
Isn’t that why welfare was created?
Well, welfare isn’t working, especially for those of us who can’t get it.
Welfare used to be just a little help until people didn’t need help any longer.
Now people live off welfare, I love when I see people drive up to the welfare office in a fucking Cadillac Escalade.
They’re driving a $60,000 car to go pick up their welfare check.
That makes me sick
It makes me want to vomit
When my husband and I get evicted from our apartment
Drive a 1992 Pontiac Sunbird that is worth about a $100, and can’t seem to get any help.
How does that shit work?
This is the kind of shit that is bringing this country down
If the government wants to hand out free money great,
But hand it out to the people who need it
Not the people driving cars I can only dream of having
We’re tax-paying members of society too
Unlike others in this country
Who come to America and get seven years tax-free
It’s the people who aren’t American’s who should have to pay taxes, especially if the citizens of this country do
If anyone should be able to live tax-free for seven years it should be American citizens who have lived here since birth and who have worked here
It’s irritating to me that you have to be thirty-five years old
Thirty-five freaking years old to run for president
I am twenty years old and have just as much life experience as anyone thirty-five or older.
In twenty years I have seen just as much
In twenty years I have been through hell and back
I am a United States citizen who sees the wrong
Who sees what needs to be changed and wants to change it
I don’t need to graduate from Harvard or Yale
To know what to do
Nobody does more American’s then myself see these things
But nobody else is willing to step up and say anything
And if you are one that sees these things
And if you are one that speaks your mind
Then I applaud you
We have people running this government who graduated from Yale, Princeton, and Harvard
Yet they don’t know anymore than a high school graduate
Our president once called Africa a country
And any fifth grader can tell you Africa is a continent
So what does it matter age or sex when it comes to running for president
What does it matter how much schooling you have or whether you have experience or not.
Nobody has experience running a country with 52 million Americans
All it takes is someone who wants to change things for the better, who wants to do it, not for the money, but for the common good of the people.
Most people probably think that a twenty-year-old in office would mean America turned upside down
But how often do you find a twenty year old who wants to step up and take responsibility such as helping to change America for the better?
To be an American used to be a privilege and an honor
Now to be an American is a disgrace
I do not want to be disgraced of where I came from
But it is hard not to be when you live in a country which constantly "butts there nose in" where it doesn’t belong
We’ve been in Iraq for seven years now
The first reason we were given as to why we sent troops over was to search for "weapons of mass destruction"
I personally know many people in the military and they all have told me the same, there are none.
Then when no "weapons of mass destruction" were found there was another reason, and another, and another.
Nobody knows the real reason we’re over there, we dismantled their government to make it better for them
But don’t we have enough to worry about with our own country, with our own government and with the happiness of our own citizens.
I would believe so!
It should never be that our government puts other countries before our own, and maybe that’s not what they’re doing
But isn’t that what it seems
And I don’t know about anyone else but I want to feel my country is putting me first
We’ve got to do something and quick before all of our lives are completely ruined, forever!
